Fixed HDMI/DVI detection problem.

Note that this is a PAL upgrade ,so on NTSC systems you will need to hit the "TV OUT" button on your remote control in order to see video on screen after the update.

Copy the firmware software ( .update format) onto the internal hard drive.

Navigate to the internal hard drive and locate the file.

Execute the firmware update file and confirm the update.

The MediaGate player will restart after successfully updating the firmware.

Note: Please note that there is a risk of damaging the MediaGate player everytime you update your firmware..
