I saw one online merchant marked MediaGate MG450 HD as “in stock now”. The price is actually lower than the IDE version MG-350HD. Here is the link.

1I was thinking to get one of the 350 HD’s but since the 450 HD is available now. I maybe buying the MG-450 instead. Do you think the new Mediagate MG-450 HD will be buggy? Do I have to wait a few months until the newer firmware is available? I assume the mediagate mg350 is more stable after several revisions of the firmware updates.

2I’ve been testing one (MG450 HD) for work,
It plays pretty much everything.
But it does have a few problems playing .vob files though.
And will buy one next payday,
Where are you seeing these advertised?

Sorry for late reply.
Do a Google search and you will find a lot of merchants advertising those MediaGate players. They are same as the merchants shown on the side navigation areas of this site. The merchant I bought MG-450HD from for $219 with free two day air shipping was one of the merchants on the right, not from ebay. I found the ebay sellers mark up a lot on shipping charge, which ended up higher on total purchase price.
